October was an intensive month for FRISQ with a directed share issue, change in the board of directors and deepened collaboration with Capio, one of Europe’s leading health care companies.
Directed share issue
The company carried out a fully subscribed, directed share issue of 78.75 million SEK, with the backing of both new and old investors, international as well as Swedish institutions. The capital infusion will strengthen FRISQ’s sales and implementation efforts in 2021. More information here.
Change in board of directors
There was a change in the board of directors as Anna Frick, as a result of a number of time-consuming commitments, resigned at her own request in agreement with the other members of the board. Åke Hallman also resigned from the board following the extra general meeting. Mats Lindstrand, Lars Björk, Göran Hägglund and Per-Egon Johansson remain as directors of the board.
“I’ve had the privilege of being active on the board for five years and it’s been a fantastic journey. The company now has a new competent CEO in place in combination with long-term owners. I therefore made my position, as a member of the FRISQ board, available to someone who can work more actively and who have skills that are relevant for the growth phase the company is now entering,” said Åke Hallman.
“We are extremely grateful for Åke’s and Anna's excellent work during their almost five years on the board,” said chairman of the board Mats Lindstrand.
FRISQ Care at Capio
Newly opened Capio Geriatrics Sollentuna has received an unique assignment from Region Stockholm, to offer a coherent care chain for geriatrics. FRISQ Care will play a key part of realising the assignment and has been implemented into the organisation from the start.
“Enrollment of a patient in inpatient care is always very time consuming, especially in geriatrics. Finding solutions that facilitate documentation is difficult. With FRISQ Care, I save time, while the program supports me in which questions and which assessments I must not forget. I hope that digital work can have a greater impact also in outpatient care – especially for the elderly who master a smartphone or a tablet. Then perhaps more of the care can take place in the patient's home, where they feel most safe”, said Nurse Yohanna Moosavian Lööf.
